Wow! The Taunton, MA NWS Forecast discussion is one of the biggest turn arounds I've seen in the past 3 years that I have tracked weather seriously. While the GFS is still the party spoiler and sends this storm well south of the region, the NWS is now going with that as an outlier, with more models joining the northern track group. I will stay conservative on for accumulations in southern New England and keep the track south of the benchmark for now. My latest forecast is in the winter weather outlook page. The NWS AFD is also posted in the outlook page.

The Tuesday - Wednesday time period has the potential to have hazardous weather in the area. Since Wednesday is Valentine's Day, please plan accordingly for this possibility. While obviously nothing is set in stone, and tomorrow the forecast could be sunny skies here, please stay tuned for the latest on this developing situation.
