Yesterday's forecast still on track. I left rain/snow in for tomorrow which remains a possibility but also a definite bust potential.
Skies will be in the process of clearing tomorrow night, and temperatures will fall back into the upper 20s. Thursday will feature bright blue skies and moderating temperatures. Skies remain clear for Thursday night, and temperatures could plummet with high radiational cooling. Friday, more of the same, with slightly warmer temperatures.
Saturday, Pumpkin Fest, will see sunny skies in the morning, with some increasing clouds as the day progresses. This will be caused by an approaching storm system that will spread showers into the region late Saturday night. Southerly flow then kicks in on Sunday and we could have a washout. Rainfall amounts over an inch are likely. Temperatures over the weekend will be right around normal for the time of year.
Cold front crosses the region on Monday, ushering in a blast of colder air. A couple of weak shortwaves may ride around the trough Monday through Thursday, triggering a few scattered snow showers. Otherwise skies will average partly cloudy. Temperatures will average around 10 to 15 degrees below the normal.
By Halloween, temperatures will be moderating, but still on the cool side.
