Already in Keene, the air temperature is 84 degrees. 90 will likely be reached before 12:30, with 91 (convective temperature) by 1pm. In addition dew points are much higher than yesterday: already up to 72! The possiblility exists of reaching 73 to 75 before the day is done. The heat index (combination of the temperature and dew point) is up to 89. Heat indices could reach 100 to 105 this afternoon. Keep cool, and drink lots of liquids. Based on the current readings, a high temperature of 95 is looking more likely. With maximum heating - zero cloud contamination - 97 could be reached, but that is doubtful. Either way, it is becoming more likely that a new record high will be established by the end of today.
